Baptist skillfully weaves the history of slavery and the history of American capitalism to explain how modern society wouldn't exist without slavery. Narrator Ron Butler's voice is perfect for such a powerful argument. His deep voice grabs the listener's attention, and his delivery, especially his use of emphasis, is great for the long haul. His cadence reveals a strong understanding of the sentence, and even the paragraph.
